Frame Your Holiday offers a window accessory to easily attach holiday lights and ornaments. This accessory can be configured for various window or door types and configurations. The configurations are designated as “Kit Types”. Windows are classified as the follow types: Double Hung, Sliders, Casement, and Bow/Box. Doors are classified as Slider or Single.

The Kit Types offered contain configurations for a single window type or multiple windows with a mix of window types. Regardless of the window type when choosing your Kit Type consider the number of windows and number of glass panes to be framed.

Choose Your Kit Type

Pricing is based on the kit type selection

Double Hung - 1 window with 2 panes of glass

Slider - 2 panes, left and right

Casement - 1 window with 1 pane of glass

Bow / Box - 3 windows minimum can be a mix of Double Hung and Casement

Door Slider - 2 panes, left and right

Single Door - 1 pane of glass

Locating your Kit Type

To identify your kit type, click the Worksheets Page. and scroll through the images. Locate the image that represents your window configuration, print that image. If your number of windows and panels exceed what is contained in a single Kit Type listed, consider multiple kits to total your number of windows and glass panes.

Measure It

With the Kit Type selected, print the Worksheets Page and you are ready to measure each glass pane in your kit. Use a flexible tape measure this gives the most accurate results. Guidelines for Accurate Measurements
  • Do Not Assume Top and Bottom for double hung have the same measurements.
  • Do Not Assume a window to the right of a prior window that appears to look the same size is the same size.
  • Be Sure and measure each pane of glass in each window!
